Laker Lightning Classic
Please only fill out the registration forms if you have been accepted to play in the tournament.
Weather Policy
Laker Lightning is a rain or shine event. There are no cancellations or refunds.
Thunder or lightning causes immediate stoppage of all games in progress as signaled by 3 central horn blasts - all players and coaches must clear the fields. We urge everyone to return to their cars while we wait.
4 central horn blasts will signal play can resume - if there is less than one half of a game remaining, play will resume with the next scheduled game. We will also send messages through Tourney Machine.
Games stopped or cancelled due to weather for grades 5, 6, & 7 will not be rescheduled at a later date.
If stoppage of play impacts the 8th grade pool or play-off games, we will make a game time decision based on the forecast and rescheduling, if at all possible.
Please note that games may also need to be cancelled if weather renders the fields unplayable. Closed fields will be marked as such.
